Wow! A Lexus Roadshow in Seria! I'm gonna grab the chance to test drive the Lexus IS-300 at the OGDC tomorrow (10 April) or maybe on Sunday. I bet there'll be lots of people at the roadshow.

This April seems to have a few other events going on. I had thought the events will die down after the school holidays. Today there's the TelBru's Customer Appreciation Day as they are celebrating their 3rd anniversary. I went to the KB branch to open up a new line and was surprised to be greeted by staff who welcomed me and my friend and opening the door for us. Umm... Not bad for a change.

Registration for a new phone line was free although deposit and the first month's rental couldn't be avoided. E-speed registration offers one Free modem but registration fees are not waived.

Oh! Did you know that you can collect stamps on a card with one stamp for every $20 bill payment. You'll need at least two accounts with TelBru though (e.g. e-speed + phone) . The card should be completed and returned byl 31 October where an event called 'Let's Shop' will be carried out on 29 November 2009.

Well, the trip to TelBru today was quite different as there was food, Lucky Dip and some games for customers. Managed to only get 2 pens... Foot in mouth

There seems to be some big scale promotions taking place lately. There was this Big Bang Carnival by Bmobile last weekend and soon, HSBC is holding The Red Sale, also at The Mall Gadong over the next weekend. No wonder that area is always so congested but it's a good atmosphere for those who's looking for some activities during this school holiday. It's also good for us, shoppers as we'll be able to save up on things we've been longing to buy. Shopping in Brunei is actually not too bad.
